The Aurora Botnia is an outstanding Ro-pax vessel ombining a rigid focus on sustainability with an innovative design to ensure year-round service in a very challenging ice area. With her, the Ume\u00e5-Vasa line received a tailored vessel securing the operation\u2019s long-term prosperous future.<\/p>\n<p>Kudos Dsign also received an award for the architecture and design board.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>We are happy and proud of this award, which again shows how well we succeed with the new ferry&#8217;s design and technology. Last Year we got the award \u201cFerry of the Year\u201d on the European Ferry Shipping Summit and now Aurora Botnia got the award for design and technology. A lot of new technology, mainly from local suppliers, is on board Aurora Botnia and we are pleased that this has now received attention.
