Biokraftin kanssa sopimuksen nesteytetyn biokaasun (LBG) toimi-tuksesta. Toimitukset alkavat tammikuussa 2028 ja tapahtuvat Aurora Botnian tankkauksen yhteydess\u00e4 Vaasassa. Sopimuksen laajuus on 42 GWh vuodessa ja tavoitteena on, ett\u00e4 Wasaline k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4asiassa paikallisesti tuotettua biokaasua Suomen Lantakaasun uudelta Nurmon-laitokselta.<\/p>\n<p>Wasaline on jo useiden vuosien ajan k\u00e4ytt\u00e4nyt biokaasua Aurora Botnian polttoaineena pyrkiess\u00e4\u00e4n v\u00e4hent\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n Vaasan ja Uumajan v\u00e4lisen liikenteen p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00f6j\u00e4. Uusi yhteisty\u00f6 St1 Biokraftin kanssa vahvistaa alueellista arvoketjua ja varmistaa samalla uusiutuvan polttoaineen saatavuuden tuleville vuosille.<\/p>\n<p>Nesteytetty biokaasu kuljetetaan s\u00e4ili\u00f6autoilla St1 Biokraftin tuotantolaitoksilta ja terminaaleista Vaasan satamaan, jossa se bunkrataan Aurora Botniaan.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 T\u00e4m\u00e4 on ensimm\u00e4inen suurempi merenkulkualan biokaasusopimuksemme ja t\u00e4rke\u00e4 virstanpylv\u00e4s St1 Biokraftille. Merenkulussa biokaasun avulla voidaan saavuttaa merkitt\u00e4vi\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00f6v\u00e4hennyksi\u00e4 jo t\u00e4n\u00e4\u00e4n, ja olemme eritt\u00e4in iloisia Wasalinen osoittamasta luottamuksesta. L\u00e4hialueellamme tapahtuva tuotanto vahvistaa energian huoltovarmuutta ja tukee samalla alueellista kiertotaloutta luomalla paremmat edellytykset lannan ja muiden orgaanisten sivuvirtojen hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4miselle.
