Thanks to the Kombiterminal in Umeå Port and the one in Umeå city center we can offer driverless transportation of a container or trailer from Vaasa to destinations like Barcelona together with our partners. Our intermodal network is extensive, covering nearly all of Central and Western Europe. Additionally, it is possible to transport non-liftable trailer units by train, thanks to various platforms available in the market.
The transit time to Barcelona is about 6-7 days, and emissions are up to 80% lower compared to transporting by truck and with a RoRo ship from Germany to southern Finland (source: NTM-calc).
