Wasaline is always offering attractive trips between Finland and Sweden. Buying a gift card from us is easy: just choose the value and let each recipient decide when and how they want to travel.

The gift card can be used to pay for cruise tickets, meals booked in advance (buffet and breakfast), lounge seats, hotel packages, and extra services, but not for purchases made on the ship. Visit our prices page to find the right value for your present.

How to buy a GoGift card

Enter the GoGift vendor service by first selecting your preferred currency:

The Cart function allows you to place many cards with different values in the same order.

You can pay for your order with online bank payment, credit card, or mobile payment (Mobilepay/Swish). Corporate clients in Sweden can also set up a corporate account to pay with an invoice.

You can add a personal greeting to the gift card. The card will be delivered to the recipient either by e-mail, SMS message, or by mail. You can choose the delivery date.

Instructions for the gift card recipient

How to use

Gift cards issued by GoGift have a 12-digit code and GoGift branding. You have received the card either by e-mail, SMS, or mail.

The GoGift gift card must be redeemed by telephone, e-mail, or chat at Wasaline customer service. Be prepared to give the unique code on the card to the booking agent. Booking online or via travel agencies is not supported.

Wasaline gift card is valid for:

Day cruises, one-way trips, return trips
Traveling with car, bike, or other vehicle
Hotel packages booked via Wasaline
Archipelago buffet and breakfast (pre-purchased)
Cabin and passenger lounge reservations
Extras, such as pet lounge seating and bike transportation

Not valid for on board shopping. Valid for 12 months and can be used partially. Cannot be redeemed for cash.

Trips paid with a gift card do not add up to frequent traveller benefits.

A voucher includes a 9-digit code, either on a printed card or delivered digitally.

The voucher entitles the holder to:

one free day cruise for one person with a same-day return trip, or
two free one-way trips, provided that both the outbound and return journeys are booked at the same time

Book the trip online. First complete steps 1-6 as usual. In step 7, select Gift card as the payment method. Enter the voucher code and select Pay:

How to use a voucher to pay for trip

The system will then deduct the price of the day cruise or route trip from the total amount in the shopping cart.

Repeat this step if you wish to use multiple voucher codes for the same booking.

Finally, choose another payment method to pay for the additional costs, such as meals, cabins or surcharges.

The expiry date shown on the voucher is the latest possible travel date.

The voucher cannot be used for:

Discounted campaigns or theme cruises
Flexi-priced tickets
Car packages
Hotel packages
Student or senior tickets

Specific gift cards

A gift card issued for a specific trip is always in printed form.

Please make the booking by contacting the booking service by telephone, e-mail, or chat at Wasaline customer service. Bring the printed card with you to the terminal and present it at check-in.
