Umeå Beer Festival
This beer festival offers engaging experiences for both experts and casual lovers of malt beverages. Around twenty Nordic breweries will take part across three sessions during the two-day event. Be sure to book your tickets in advance for the small-group tastings, as spaces are limited.
Entertainment at the festival includes Ölkampen, a competition in which participating breweries compete for the title of best beer of the event. In addition, hot food and snacks will be available throughout the venue.

Brännbollsyran (Cup)
Founded in 1974 around the uniq Nordic game of “Brännboll” (a team sport similar to baseball with four bases) Brännbollsyran has grown into one of the largest festivals in northern Sweden. This year, it is split across two weekends to accommodate both the games and the festivities.
The festivities begin with Cup Weekend in Hedlunda Park, featuring the Brännboll World Championship. The tournament is a one-of-a-kind folk celebration, with hundreds of teams, cheering crowds, picnic blankets, and excitement from morning until evening. As the sun sets, the celebration continues at the Cinco nightclub with a large party.
Brännbollsyran (Festival)
The second weekend of Brännbollsyran is dedicated to music. The 2026 festival will feature confirmed acts such as the American group Black Eyed Peas, the British band Clean Bandit, and around twenty urban music artists from Sweden and Norway.

Rock the Night
Rock the Night is a touring festival where some of Sweden’s top tribute bands perform the music of legendary acts from the 1970s and 1980s. Having already gained strong popularity in southern Sweden, the event is coming to Umeå for the first time this year.
In summer 2026, Rock the Night will feature performances celebrating bands such as AC/DC, Queen, and Iron Maiden, brought to life by dedicated tribute acts. Bars and food trucks will be on site to keep visitors refreshed between shows.
