For the fifth consecutive year Umeå will host the Rally Sweden WRC contest. The rally takes place on 12-15th February 2026.
Rally Sweden is one of the largest sporting events in Sweden and attracts nearly 200 000 motorsport fans from near and far. During the rally weekend Umeå transforms into a huge festival city with motorsport, entertainment, and dining. Wasaline takes you from Finland to the heart of the rally.

Ferry trip and hotel
The ferry route from Vaasa to Umeå is the smartest way to reach the event from Southern and Central Finland as well as from the Baltic countries. We have 2-4 departures every day. On Sunday the 15th we have postponed the departure of Aurora Botnia by 2.5 hours to better serve rally spectators.

Please notice that distance between Umeå and Skellefteå is 136 kilometres and that the hotel package does not include bus transportation in Sweden. Distance between Umeå and Örnsköldsvik is 110 kilometres and there is a train connection between the two cities.
