NLC Ferry Ab Oy   I  Press release I  17.3.2023

New and improved Archipelago buffet on board Aurora Botnia

Wasaline’s passenger ferry Aurora Botnia has been in service for 1.5 years. The ferry has exceeded all expectations, but there is always room for improvement. During a recent renovation of the archipelago buffet restaurant, self-service dispensers for beer and wine were installed. Adult customers can now enjoy these beverages during their meal for an additional cost of 7€/77 SEK.

– We are always paying attention to customer feedback, and the installation of self-service taps has been one of the most popular requests. We hope that this addition will further improve the customer experience, says Peter Ståhlberg, Managing Director of Wasaline.

During the renovation, the dessert station was relocated to reduce queues near the entrance. Desserts can now be found in the middle of the room.

The new All-inclusive package can be bought in advance or upon arrival at the restaurant. Passengers with an existing booking can upgrade their Archipelago buffet by visiting the link found on their booking confirmation or by using the Wasaline mobile application. Passengers’ personal boarding card QR codes are used to activate the tap.
