An exclusive dinner for wine and food lovers!
This spring we welcome sommelier Andreas Sandén on board to present the season’s best wines to our passengers. For these special occasions, our chef de cuisine Mikael Styris has prepared an exclusive menu that aligns perfectly with the wines. Our restaurant Bistro Botnia provides an intimate and interactive venue for the event.

Food is Mikael’s great passion. As Head of Cuisine aboard Aurora Botnia, he never tires of exploring new trends and refining ideas into dishes served at the ship’s restaurants. Working with local and sustainable ingredient suppliers brings Mikael great joy.

For over 20 years, Andreas has shared his wine expertise through his company, Avinea. He knows how to speak about wine in a way that’s both engaging and informative, which is why his tasting events are always popular. Many of our passengers remember Andreas from previous tasting cruises, where he has been a familiar and welcome guest.
