Wasaline can together with a number of hotels and other service providers present a wide variety of packages to Swedish ski centers and hotels. Have a look the offers available for Wasaline’s customers and you will see that we have something for everyone, regardless if you are happiest at the ski track, on a snowmobile or on the slopes.
Åre village is a big city in miniature form, and offers a large range of both restaurants and shops. The mountain’s highest point is more than 1 kilometre above the village centre and offers northern Europe’s greatest vertical drop. The more adventurous amongst us get their fill of adventure with infinite summit trip opportunities and challenging off-piste just a stone’s throw from the pistes. Those looking for a calmer experience can enjoy mile after mile of ski trails, kilometre-long rolling pistes and cosy mountain restaurants perfect for a long lunch. Don’t be surprised if you run into one or two reindeer when you ski down the long pistes.
If you visit Åre during the winter’s dark months you can enjoy night skiing with world-class lighting, and with a little luck the magical northern lights will brighten the dark sky as a bonus.
There is something for everyone in Hemavan and Tärnaby, twin villages situated in the mountains of Swedish Lapland. 18 km separates the two and the simplest method of transport between them is by your own car or taxi. Hemavan boasts 9 lifts and includes the gondol/telemix lift. There are 27 slopes, three children’s areas, two snow parks and a Skicross Arena.
In Hemavan is Kobåset, an area of un-groomed terrain providing what many consider to be Sweden’s best free riding opportunities. In Tärnaby there are 5 ski lifts and 13 slopes of which two are suitable for children. This is where you will find the slopes that created our national champions; Ingemarbacken Anjabacken and Ringbranten.
