Wasaline is calling all fans of 70s and 80s hard rock aboard Aurora Botnia on May 17. Enjoy the warm sound of analogue amplifiers and the breathtaking musicianship of these two exceptional tribute bands that take over our stage.

The bands

Solid Faces band pays homage to the titans of classic hard rock. Their repertoire consists of songs from legendary trailblazers such as Deep Purple, Rainbow and Whitesnake.

Solid Faces was founded in Pietarsaari around 2006 and the current lineup has been together since 2010. All members grew up listening to and loving classic rock, and the band has been an important channel to spread that love back to their listeners.

Bon’s Balls has gained a reputation for being one of Finland’s foremost and most authentic AC/DC coverbands, not as lookalikes but as soundalikes. The band plays AC/DC covers from the Bon Scott era, spanning the years 1974-1980.

Bon’s Balls was born in Kokkola. Since 1995, the band has played over 130 performances all over Finland ranging from smoky backwoods pubs to huge outdoor festivals. Age is nothing but a number when this group takes the stage to pay tribute to the everlasting rock and roll machine that is AC/DC.

The trip

This unique show is available for both Finnish and Swedish audiences, and for cruise and regular passengers alike. Both bands play during the following departures:

• 11.15-16.00 Umeå-Vaasa
• 16.45-19.15 Vaasa-Umeå
• 20.15-01.00 Umeå-Vaasa

All mentioned times are local times. The show starts ca. 45-60 minutes after departure time so you have time to enjoy the delicious food aboard Aurora Botnia before heading off to the bar.
