The impatient fisher finds quick and easy delicacies to snack on from our café. The food served on board has strong ties to the local area. We value high quality and we choose our suppliers carefully. We want you to enjoy your trip and your meal in a pleasant environment.
The most delicious foods of the Kvarken are produced closer to you than you can imagine. The delicious, high-quality ingredients carefully selected by our chefs come to the ferry from local producers on both sides of the Kvarken.
The fish caught by Snickars fisk is served fresh from the sea, the quality meats of Björkens come from Kokkola and the delicious bakery products served at the café are made by Knips bageri in Mustasaari. You can recognise these, and many other foods made with love from local producers by way of the “Läheltä” (“Local”) label.
Our food year 2020 at Wasaline I filled with interesting taste experiences inspired by food culture from all around the world yet made with local ingredients. The year begins with Pasta weeks in the à la carte restaurant and continues in the spring with a Streetfood theme. You are also invited to follow our staff’s culinary interest trough their travels. And perhaps some good advice for your own cooking can be found along the way.
